The Pe Grand Family Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PGFAPI) is a family organization dedicated to preserving the heritage, genealogy, and unity of the Pe clan in the Philippines while strengthening connections with the global Bai/Pe clan community. PGFAPI represents the continuing evolution of organized Pe clan fellowship in the country. It serves as a platform for reconnecting families, preserving ancestral history, strengthening kinship, and building meaningful relationships among members of the clan across different generations and regions.
Our Heritage
The Pe clan in the Philippines traces its ancestral roots to Pe Ying Shun (应顺), the first known ancestor of the Pe lineage in the country. Historical genealogical records trace the family's origins to Pangtou Village (榜头), Anxi County (安溪县), Fujian Province (福建), China.
For generations, members of the Pe clan migrated across regions while maintaining strong ties to their ancestral heritage. The preservation of genealogy, family history, and ancestral identity remains central to the mission of the association.
Through the documentation of lineage and the development of a digital genealogy platform, PGFAPI continues the important work of safeguarding the history of the clan so that future generations may understand their roots and maintain a living connection to their ancestors.
Philippine Legacy
Organized efforts to strengthen the unity of the Pe clan in the Philippines formally took shape with the founding of the Pe Clan Association Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) in 2013 by Dr. Vicente "Nonoy" Maguad Pesayco Jr.
From 2013 to 2024, PCAPI served as an important platform for bringing together Pe clan families from different parts of the Philippines. It fostered fellowship, encouraged awareness of family history, and strengthened relationships among relatives across generations.
As the organization's vision expanded, the association was revitalized and later registered as the Pe Grand Family Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PGFAPI) on April 8, 2025. This renewal reflects a strengthened commitment to heritage preservation, genealogy development, broader membership participation, and stronger national and international collaboration among Pe clan members.
Zharman A. Pecaoco, who served as Vice President of PCAPI from 2013 to 2024, continues to play a key role in helping guide the association in its present form under PGFAPI.
Global Community
PGFAPI is part of the wider global Bai/Pe clan network and continues to strengthen ties with relatives and partner organizations across different countries.
Among the international organizations linked to this wider network are the World Association for Bai Shi Clansmen and the World Bais' General Chamber of Commerce. These institutions reflect the broader cultural, genealogical, and organizational connections of the Bai/Pe clan worldwide.
Through international conferences, clan gatherings, genealogical exchange, and cultural cooperation, PGFAPI helps promote unity among Pe clan families in the Philippines and abroad, affirming that while branches of the clan may be separated by geography, they remain connected by ancestry, heritage, and shared memory.
